USGI USMC ILBE Assault Pack (SURPLUS)

Genuine?US Marine Corps issue Improved Load Bearing Equipment (ILBE) Assault Packs. The Assault Pack has?front and sides that are covered in MOLLE webbing for universal attachment. There are two zippered compartments, one small and one large. The pack has a small opening on the top of both zippered compartments to allow for hydration bladders. Both the sternum strap and waist belt are fully adjustable and allow the user to carry the pack with more comfort than traditional backpacks.?

The Assault Pack can also attach to the front of the larger ILBE Rucksack w/ Frame (not included). Together they make a great combination and have proved their worth in combat and survival. These make great camping/hiking, school and survival bug out bags!

This is part of the USMC Improved Load Bearing Equipment (ILBE) system. ILBE is a load carrying system that was designed to provide a durable and lightweight means for the deployed Marine to transport individual combat clothing and equipment. It replaced the MOLLE II system and was superseded by the FILBE system.
