Bay leaf

Bay leaves are widely used in cooking and canning. It has a spicy aroma and bitter taste. Bay leaf is added to sour dishes (sauces, gravies), when salting and marinating mushrooms and vegetables, when cooking various types of meat, poultry, and fish. It is recommended to add bay leaf to taste for 5-10 minutes before cooking, after washing it, remove the leaf from the finished dish.
