This very few of a kind pillow cover features beautiful, bright, multi colored yarns on a?heavy white cotton warp. The diamonds, representing the Mayan universe,?features different colors. The intricacy of this tapestry weaving--changing the weft within the line of weaving by counting stitches--and still making it lie flat and seamlessly move from one color to another is astounding!??There is an envelope opening to insert the pillow form. One tie in the middle of the back. This is another masterpiece woven in the highlands of Chiapas, in the small town of San Andres Larrainzar.?
