Vitamin D-3 (Chewable)

NOW Vitamin D-3 Chewable provides a gelatin-free format in an enjoyable naturally sweetened fruit flavour. This is a high potency dosage with 1000 IU per tablet. Vitamin D is normally obtained from the diet or produced by the skin from the ultraviolet energy of the sun. However, it is not abundant in food. As more people avoid sun exposure, Vitamin D supplementation becomes even more necessary to ensure that your body receives an adequate supply. Vitamin D is important in the absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus and helps with the normal development and maintenance of bones and teeth.

Medicinal Ingredients: Each tablet contains:

Non-medicinal ingredients: Xylitol, Sorbitol, Cellulose, Natural Fruit Flavours (fruit punch, strawberry, raspberry), Beet Powder, Stearic Acid (vegetable grade), Ascorbyl Palmitate, Citric Acid, Silica.

Adolescents 14 yrs. and older and Adults: Take 1 chewable tablet daily with meals.

Caution: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience symptoms of hypoglycemia including feelings of anxiety, dizziness, tremor, sweating, nausea or headache. Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
