G-Shock has spent the last four decades perfecting the digital and digital-analog watch. From its early days, the brand has sought to iterate on a durable design by experimenting with case materials, colors, and technologies. All three of those come together in this new collection called the G-Shock Full Metal Navy. Both references, based on the 2100 and 5000-series lines, feature distinct design touches that set it apart from the rest.
The GMB2100AD-2A is based on the 2100-series case from G-Shock. Its dimensions are 44.4 x 49.8 x 12.8 mm, and its case and bracelet are made of stainless steel. It features a striking navy blue dial that has both analog and digital time-telling functionality. Its sibling, the GMWB5000D-2, is based on the 5000-series watches. It measures 49.1mm x 45.0mm x 14.5mm and is also made of stainless steel. Both models are water resistant to 200 meters.
Both the GMB2100AD-2A and the GMWB5000D-2 are powered by solar quartz movements; the module 5691 and 3539, respectively. Their functions include world time, automatic calendar, alarm, stopwatch, and Bluetooth connectivity for atomic time syncing and more.
