Professionally refurbished Antares CAPRI?- cleaned, serviced, and adjusted to factory specs -The Antares CAPRI is a compact metal-frame typewriter that was rebranded and also sold as the Underwood 19. The machine has the ribbon color selector to the right of the typing point in front of the platen (partially visible behind the ribbon cover). Unlike most machines where you pull out or push in a button or the entire knob to disengage the platen from the line space mechanism, you actually unscrew the right platen know a few turns to disengage the platen. This beauty is ready to type, it has been cleaned, serviced, and adjusted to factory specs. The feed rollers have been cleaned or replaced as necessary and any worn or damaged parts were repaired or replaced. The typewriter body has 100% original color from the factory and the machine has been thoroughly tested. All keys are working perfectly and a brand new black/red silk ribbon installed is freshly installed. All this work guarantees you years of trouble-free operation, you can unpack and use it straight away. The type is shown in the photos, it has serial #R299992103. This Capri is still housed in its vinyl travel case. This typewriter is in absolutely EXCELLENT CONDITION!! The vinyl case shows its age, several corners are torn but it is perfectly usable and will protect the machine. Made in Italy.
