Featured here is a 3/8"OD Stem to 5/16" Barb Adapter. The 5/16" Barb will fit a 5/16"ID hard plastic tube and 1/4" or 5/16"ID soft, flexible tube, such as vinyl or NSF Translucent Flexible Total Barrier tube.
To change the inlet or outlet tube size required to connect to a Quick Disconnect you will need to purchase an addition part. The part required is called a Stem to Barb Adapter. These adapters have a stem on one end that must match the OD on the Quick Disconnect and a barb on the opposite end the mates with the ID of the tube you are trying to connect.
