Spectacular Sapphire and Old European Cut Diamond Cocktail Ring in Platinum Topped 14k Gold

This showstopper of a ring really brings the bling! The ring, created in the Art Deco period, features platinum topped 14k gold construction. There are five squared sapphires in a column down the center of the ring, measuring roughly 3mm each for a total of approximately 1.00cttw. The sapphires appear to be lab created as was the norm of the period. There is a very small chip under the corner of one sapphire, this is not eye visible. The stones are surrounded by two frames of Old European cut diamonds. The inner frame stones measure roughly 2.30mm on average while the outer frame stones measuring 2.80mm on average, for a total diamond weight of approximately 2.20cttw. These diamonds are exceptionally clean and bright. They average VS2 clarity and are G-I in color. This knockout isnt for the faint of heart! Front to back the ring measures just over 1 1/8" in length and it is 3/4" across in width.
