Current Yumepirika rice is a new crop and the rice itself is hydrated. New crop rice requires less water with a 1:1 ratio and less cooking time. Yumepirika rice crop has a softer stickier texture and a great taste that enhances side dishes such as grilled fish, mentaiko cod roe, or natto.
We import food products from Japan via sea, so the shelf life will be shorter than it is in the Japanese markets. The expiration date usually will be around 3-9 months. Food products cannot be returned unless the expiration date is within 30 days when the item is delivered.
