Mintons England Antique Pair 15" Chargers Platters Children Playing Swing Dog

A pair of antique transferware chargers or round platters by Mintons or Minton England. Multi-color flowers surrounding two scenes of children playing - swing with women and dog - orchard ladder with woman and fowl. Gold rim.

The ladder platter has the Mintons maker print mark used 1873-91. Both have the same incised marks MINTON... 15... Z or N... + sign in a circle.

Large size 15" diameter x 1.25" tall... weight 3.75 lbs. each.

Very Good antique condition... No cracks or chips - these have several small firing pops at the rim, not chips as the gold and glaze impede on them - I believe these are original. The ladder plate has two brown tone lines on the back and one matching on the front. The swing has some brown stain on the bottom, as seen in photos.
