The Triage printed flagging tape comes in a set of 4 colors:
- Red - Labeled IMMEDIATE so that first responders know the highest priority is to treat these patients with life-threatening injuries.
- Yellow - Labeled DELAYED so that first responders know these patients are the second priority as their injuries are not as severe as the first group.
- Green - Labeled MINOR so that first responders know these patients have non-significant injuries relating to the situation.
- Black - Labeled DECEASED so that first responders know these victims do not need care at that time.
