Rag Rugs: Denim (loom-made by hand)

This handwoven rug is made up of hundreds of short pieces of fabric sewn together and then hand-woven on the loom. The fabric will be pieces of the same type of denim material?(e.g., stretch denim or stiffer cotton denim).? Since?the rug is created?this way, the rug should not distort when washed.

All of the denim?in this rug is laundered prior to construction.? After the rug was constructed, the rug itself will not?have been washed.? So, please be prepared that it may shrink to a small degree.

You may machine washable or dry clean. It may also be machine dried, but I suggest drying it about half dry, then letting it air dry the rest of the way to keep shrinking to a minimum.
