Lush Interlude

Smoky, with raw sugarcane and orange oil aromatics predominating. Think of a rum-based sidecar. Recipe from Braden LaGrone at Cure in NOLA.

Ingredients:

• ? oz oz Demerara Gum Syrup
• 1 oz aged rum
  
• 1 oz amaro (Sfumato Rabarbaro strongly recommended)
  
• ? oz lime juice
• ? oz orange liqueur

Instructions:

• Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
• Add ice and shake hard for 20 seconds
• Strain into a chilled coupe
