This paper is handmade using traditional methods passed down through generations of Indian artisans and printmakers. Cotton scraps from garment manufacturers are upcycled and used to make cotton pulp paper, and then the designs are screen-printed by hand, turning scraps into fine paper. These beautiful note cards and box is an ode to?the forgotten art of letter writing on stationery.
Any imperfections in the paper are inherent to the paper.

Hataguchi Collective is a proprietor of traditional paper products with a modern aesthetic. In this era of fast and disposable everything, Hataguchi Collective quietly goes against the grain, patiently taking the old and turning into something new and precious. Working with a band of paper artisans and printmakers she came across in her travels in India, she was inspired by how they gave old cotton garments a second and precious life as handmade paper.
