ClearView Filter Aid

Filter Aid is a professional strength filter cleaner for removing oil, scale, organics and grime from sand, cartridge, and diatomaceous earth filters. Regular use of Filter Aid increases water flow and helps keep the water cleaner, with maximum efficiency.

Directions of use:

• Sand Filters: Turn off inlets and outlets for all chemical feeders. Close main drain and place filter in backwash position. Slowly pour 8 ounces of Filter Aid through the skimmer while back-washing. Run filter pump until water runs clear. Repeat treatment until entire contents of the bottle is used. Continue normal operation and turn on inlets/outlets for chemical feeders.
• Cartridge Filters: Remove cartridge(s) from filter and spray filter from top to bottom with Filter Aid and allow to stand for 5 minutes or until foaming action stops. For deep cleaning, cartridges can be placed in a large plastic bag, tied closed, and set in a warm area for 30 minutes. Then, rinse and replace the cartridges in the filter and continue normal operation.
• D.E. Filter Grids:?Remove?filter grids from filter and spray filter from top to bottom with Filter Aid and allow to stand for 5 minutes or until foaming action stops. For deep cleaning,?grids can be placed in a large plastic bag, tied closed, and set in a warm area for 30 minutes. Then, rinse and replace the?grids in the filter and continue normal operation.
