The recommended pH for pool water is a range of 7.2 to 7.6 for maximum bather comfort and effective use of granular or tablet chlorine. Test pH levels daily at the same time you test for chlorine. If you pH level is below 7.2, add this product at?the rate of 1/4 pound per 2,500 gallon of pool water by broadcasting it over the surface of the pool. Retest after 30 minutes and adjust until test kit reads in the 7.2 to 7.6 range.
