These coasters are?Made in the USA?using?premium?grade black slate.? Lacquer has been applied to the slate prior to engraving.
Please note that slate will have many differences in thickness, texture, and appearance.? No two coasters will be identical.? When choosing each set, I do try to find?coasters that are similar in thickness/weight.
