• Protect pipes up to 2 1/2" in diameter. Suitable for use on plastic and metal water pipes.
• Industrial grade self-regulating heating cable. Configured for use in non-hazardous and hazardous locations, including areas where corrosives may be present.
• Adjust output automatically based on the ambient temperature at each point along the cable. No worry about the overheating risk.
• Fluoropolymer (One of the most heavy-duty plastic materials) as the out jacket. Can be used underwater application(the black heating cable part).
• With a 6ft cold lead, and the wire gauge is 20 AWG. Test before installation. Plug the cable in, and in approximately 5 minutes, it should feel slightly warm to the touch. Then unplug the cable.
