Skeleton Key Head Pendant

This solid sterling silver pendant was created using a metal casting technique. A vintage steel skeleton key was the original inspirational for the piece and used to create a mold. After a mold is made raw sterling sterling is melted and poured into the mold, leaving a solid key head silhouette. A heavy 18 inch sterling silver belcher chain was then added to the pendant, allowing it to move freely. Elements and lobster clasp are also sterling and piece is oxidized (antiqued) with matte finish.
