The CleanStat AD Grounding smock has conductive cuffs and a conductive grounding system, when the cable is connected to ground, the smock drains all static generated. CleanStat AD smocks are composed by 98% polyester and 2% carbon fibers which makes it low tribocharging and insulates the electrostatic fields generated by the friction of the human body and materials that make up the clothing. Due to the confection construction of its fabric and its ESD materials it is ideal to be used in cleanrooms because it does not allow any particle to pass through it. They are ideal for 1000 class cleanrooms since it has a better optimal permeability.
All Estatec smocks meet the requirement for Static Control Garment per ANSI/ESD S20.20 and ESD TR53.
