In 1985, the?Baltimore Colts had just moved to Indianapolis and were playing in the brand new Hoosier Dome. It was time for an MLB team in the city. Led by Art Angotti, a new ownership group began preparing for a new team and sold 12,000 season tickets for the new Indianapolis Arrows. The problem was the Hoosier Dome could not be converted into a baseball field.? With no money for another new stadium in Indianapolis, the dream of the Arrows died.
