Silver?Sheen Obsidian is a naturally occurring mineraloid that is formed when lava cools rapidly, and gas bubbles get caught inside, creating the "sheen" or flash that you see in either silver or gold. Obsidian is considered a Volcanic Glass, not a crystal-but it is natural.
