APL is best known for its ground-breaking (and NBA-banned) basketball shoes, but it makes kicks for other athletic endeavors, as well. Over two years in the development, their TechLoom is a similarly advanced running shoe. Weighing just 6.8 oz., it combines a stretchy woven Techloom upper with an internal speed lacing system for a wide range of motion and lockdown fit. Those sit atop a proprietary Propelium midsole built to maximize energy return and cushioning while maintaining its structure longer than traditional EVA foam. Finished with a durable rubber outsole and forefoot landing pad.
